First Which Wich Open in Elm City Connecticut

In January 2019, the people of Connecticut were able to taste the delicious and customizable menu of Which Wich for the first time after a brand new sandwich shop franchise location opened in New Haven. Husband-and-wife franchisees Vidhi and Chintan Patel opened the location after realizing that becoming entrepreneurs was their calling and the best way they could control their own future success. The New Haven location is not the only place Connecticut residents can get a Which Wich, though. The Patels have already purchased the rights to second franchise location in the state, but need to choose where it will be established.

As the flagship sandwich shop for Which Wich in Connecticut, the New Haven store is already promising. Corporate players are hopeful that Which Wich has the potential to get upwards of 40 locations throughout Connecticut based on early projections. At this time, we have about 500 locations, so 40 would be a significant portion of our total Which Wich family.

Our director of franchise development, Scott McIntosh, told the New Haven Register that there is not yet a development timetable set for the Connecticut region. He noted that there were already many curious entrepreneurs asking about franchise opportunities in Connecticut. He also believes that Which Wich will not be in direct competition with other sandwich shop chains because of the company’s unique approach to customization, top-quality ingredients, creative offerings, and, of course, industry-leading courtesy shown to the customer.
